The Busted Nut Grill
The Busted Nut is located about 3 blocks down the hill from the Anchor Grille. Drive down North Main Street and after the stop sign and before the bridge turn right towards the Marina.
You can enjoy views over the Marina whilst enjoying a meal.
They do have a buffet style salad bar and a good choice of meals. The restaurant is modelled along the 60ies decor.
If you are in watersports and you intend to launch your boat the Busted Nut maybe your ideal place for a quick snack before embarking on the adventures of the Missouri. There are facilities to put your boat into water and there are plenty of car parking facilities.
The Gateway Restaurant
On the edge of town but just of the Chamberlain exit in the Interstate I-90 is the Gateway Restaurant. The Gateway offers a good range of food at fair prices. There is plenty of seating in a pleasant atmosphere. Next to the Gateway are two fast food outlets (Pizza Hut and Taco John’s). At the bottom of the hill is a gas station. Should you be a visitor the South Dakota Hall of fame is located very close to the restaurant.
Charly’s Restaurant
The restaurant is located at Easy King Avenue or the old highway 16 opposite the Food Centre. Coming up from the highway bridge it is on the right hand side. Please refer to the map below.

Indulge
If you like cakes, cookies and other sweet delights you can find some excellent homemade baking done at Indulge.
Apart from the sweet delights without life would be just that little bit more dull, indulge does offer sandwiches, salads and other lunchtime snacks.
Indulge is located on Main Street. It is hard to miss since the front is painted in Pink. Why not dare the Pink Peril and indulge yourself at Chamberlains pinkest bakery!

There are five popular fast food outlets in Chamberlain.
If you want to eat fast and cheap this may be your choice as you are travelling through.
McDonald’s
In the centre of town at the junction of Main Street and the old highway 16 is McDonald’s. There is a drive thru and also ample of car parking available around the venue. There is also a playground set up for McDonald clients consisting of a slide and some climbing facilities. Seating is ample. It is rare to struggle for seating.
Subway
Just a little bit further up the hill about 2 blocks you will find Subway. There car parking available for clients.
Dairy Queen
For burger, fries and ice cream, Dairy Cream will be your choice. About 2 miles up the hill from Chamberlain town centre, very close to the Junction with I-90 you will find Dairy Queen. Next to Dairy Queen is a gas station with a well equipped convenience store. There is plenty of car parking available including a drive thru. The DQ premises do have plenty of seating available. If you come off the Interstate DQ is within a minute off the second Chamberlain exit after the river travelling East or it is the first Chamberlain exit travelling West.
Pizza Hut and Taco John
Both outlets are located just close to the I-90. Just get off the first Chamberlain exit after the river travelling East or the second exit travelling West. For both outlets there is plenty of car parking. Taco John offers a drive thru facility.
